03 - Homemade documents

I'm in IT, so forms and checklists are what I do.  Below are just a few documents that I have created to either make my life easier or the medical staff easier. Hospital meal selection Food Servies will come around to get your meal selections.  But every time we end up forgetting something we wanted, so I made a form.   Please feel free to modify it as you wish. https://app.box.com/s/zie8gms1rm73jl6w66lzmj9ivvpxi0b6 BMT Menu https://app.box.com/s/l20brelhn0mgq4wvkvnaqu0is4rdy6qz Urinary output form. With my wife and I sharing the bathroom, we had an issue as she had to keep track of all of her output, yet clear the urinary measuring device (aka "The Hat").   So after my wife uses the restroom, she marks off on the sheet when and how much.   I've had a few nurses say it makes it easier for them. 01 - Greetings and introduction

Hello and good day, I am a caregiver to my wife who was diagnosed with Leukemia at the start of September 2023, and of this post is still in treatment.  We are having treatment at the Northside Hospital Blood Marrow Transplant Group (further known as BMT) and they are great people. Being told you or your loved one has Leukemia can be daunting and everyone is trying to help, but you are just so overwhelmed. With that in mind, I wanted to share some tips and tricks for making your stay more comfortable while you are in the hospital.  Not everything works for everyone, but I write this as a caregiver who is here every day, day or night while my wife is admitted, except for some time on Saturday to do laundry and pick up the mail. Once I figure out how to do it, I will post Amazon links and documents I have created. In the meantime, know you have one of the best teams and they are here to help you.   If you have questions ask them, if they don't have the answer the...
