Universal TV Remote - Very optional, but no matter whether Roku or Fire Stick, you'll need to change the input from TV to an HDMI input (varies by which port you plug into).   I went for the 6-device option as it was actually cheaper than 3 or 4 devices.  This remote will also work on Roku devices (not Firestick), but having this remote keeps you from having to ask a nurse for the master remote to change the input.

HDMI extension cable - If you use a Roku TV Stick or Fire TV Stick you sometimes do not have room to plug the HDMI cable directly.   This extension cable bypasses that issue.

Over-the-door shoe organizer - And not just shoes.  Great for so many objects to put at hand.  The bathroom door is 1 3/4th thick, but the closet (if you have one) is only 18" wide.

Foam Mattress Topper - If you are looking for another one, make sure its size is "Hospital" or 33x72.
If the caregiver is going to sleep in the room, get one for them too.

Inflatable sleeping pad - This is for the caregiver only, and very optional.   If the foam topper is not enough for you, I bought an "Inflatable sleeping pad for camping".   The reason it is for camping is most of the other inflatable mattresses are way too wide and way too thick.  The foam pad is easier, but if it does not do it you can get some extra comfort.  If the patient wants more than a foam topper, they can request an inflatable "Waffle"  (looks like a waffle when inflated.)

Kinder's "The Blend"  Salt, pepper, garlic spice.  -   You get salt and pepper, but this season helps with a few of the meals.  You may use others, bring them to make things taste better for you.

3-Pack Magnetic mount LED lights  - They did not have these models when I was buying them, but I would have gone for the "Warm White" light and charger.  This is great for the bathroom at 2AM.

3" Carabiners - This may sound odd, but I found so many uses for these.  From clipping the power cable on the IV stand up off the floor, to keeping bags closed.   We used grocery bags to bring things to the hospital, but I was worried that just typing the handles together would stop it from untying itself.  Click the loops and feel safe.

No link, but you may need longer USB cables to reach from the wall behind the bed to the rolling table near the bed.

Shipping.   You can have anything shipped directly to your room, there is just an additional day for the hospital to process the packages.   Please ask someone for the correct way to address it so it gets to you.

03 - Homemade documents

 I'm in IT, so forms and checklists are what I do.  Below are just a few documents that I have created to either make my life easier or the medical staff easier. With my wife and I sharing the bathroom, we had an issue as she had to keep track of all of her output, yet clear the urinary measuring device (aka "The Hat").   So after my wife uses the restroom, she marks off on the sheet when and how much.   I've had a few nurses say it makes it easier for them.
